After nearly 14 years, Seasonal Fruit & Veg Boxes will be closing at the end of this month. The last delivery will be Monday, the 29th of July.
When I started the business local farms grew a wide range of fruit and vegetables, and field prices were often much lower than those available at supermarkets. Hence there was a rational basis for a company to offer local food to local people.
Times have changed.
I would like to thank over 500 customers, many of whom received their first delivery in recent years. In particular, I would like to thank those customers whom have been receiving a regular delivery for over a decade.

Unlike traditional box schemes, there is no need to make any commitment to purchase on a regular basis from us. Your orders can be as infrequent and irregular as you wish. If you want just one box this year that is fine by us.
However, if you would like to receive a regular delivery, as the majority of our customers do, please let us know and we will add your details to our Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday round.

The contents of your box can be found on this website a minimum of six days in advance of delivery. If there is anything in the box that you do not want, just tell us and we will change it.

There is no need to be in when we deliver your produce. If you are away from home we will simply leave your produce in a suitable place away from the elements, such as in a porch or with a neighbour, and collect payment, if necessary, at a later date.

We do not use plastic packaging of any description. Your produce will arrive in a traditional wooden fruit box, packed only in cardboard and paper bags.
All cardboard and paper packaging can be returned to us for recycling or reusing.
The wooden box is returnable.
